John R. Grimes is a principal attorney of Lefkoff, Duncan, Grimes, McSwain & Hass, P.C. John concentrates his practice in real estate and business transactional and litigation matters to include matters involving real estate closings; foreclosure sales; creditor representation in bankruptcy matters related thereto; prosecution and defense in eviction, post-tax sale matters; construction disputes; and real estate title protection, title clearance and title dispute resolution or including resolution of estate and probate related disputes. His practice also includes the creation and organization small company size organizations and the negotiation and drafting of residential and commercial real estate sales, leases and construction related contracts and dispute resolution involving such organizations and/or the individuals involved therein.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, Real Estate Section and Trial Practice Section and the Atlanta Bar Association. He served on the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Commission (1983-1988).
John is a native Atlantan; received both his undergraduate degree (1970) and law degree (1972) from Mercer University, Macon, GA; and is a retired LTC in the US Army Reserves.
